Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and dedication to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services throughout an engagement along with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% from the registered pupils in the instruction sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
